Wow, today was fantastic. I slept well...so woke up at normal time- really didn't have any jet lag or anything...probably since I am such a head case and can convince my body that it is a different time...lucky for me! We left the apartment around 10am (I think...my watch is still set on Seattle time...I can't bring myself to change it yet) and stopped to get a cafe con leche and croissant at a little place downstairs...there is a Starbucks near us, but I'm refusing to go for at least a little while. Then we hopped on a train and went to the beach in a little city outside of Barcelona- Sitges. It was beautiful....the buildings were amazing...I'll put pictures up once I get the right kind of electricity converter for my computer...the kids were great, playing in the water, rolling in the sand, building castles. They had sand EVERYWHERE!! We stopped for lunch and had yummy food..I ordered some kind of sandwich, that came without any sort of bread...just meat. And then we met up with a play group the guys found on a website. It was awesome...the kids had a blast...we will def be doing that again. Then Matt, the kids and I headed back to the apartment for some dinner and ROb went to the airport for their missing luggage. It wa at about 8pm tonight that it occurred to me that today is May 8th...and it's my birthday- I totally forgot! Sad, I'm old now. I'm exhausted, so going to head to bed...more adventured tomorrow.
