Welcome to my Europe blog...I've never been a big fan of the blogging thing- I mean, really, why would anyone else care about what I'm up to...but I had fun writing while I was out on tour with the band. It was a good way for me to keep up and record everything we did...and my family and friends could keep up on the antical stories without hours spent sending out emails. That's not to say that you shouldn't email me or that I won't gladly reply! So here is a rundown on what it is I'm doing in Europe:
I will be working as a nanny (or an Au Pair, as the family likes to say) for a family from the east coast for 6 months in Europe. We will be spending three months in Barcelona and three months in Paris- with a few side trips thrown in there. I'll be working 40-50 hours a week, watching a 2 and 3 yr old....such fun ages- I'm sure they will keep me busy! The parents seem unbelieveably nice-they have made the whole planning and moving process as easy as possible. And they are already making fun of me for working at Disney World (p.s...we will be going to Disneyland Paris!)
I have about a day and half left to finish up my packing (how do you pack for 6 months in two suitcases?!) and tie up all the loose ends that have been my Seattle life.
Please email me often...I'm heading over there with two toddlers as my best friends...I def want to hear from you all as often as possible!
